Cooling Chain Conveyor

The Cooling Chain Conveyor by GIOFKAS G.P. is designed for transporting hot materials, such as ash from boilers. It features a cooling system integrated into the bottom and side walls of the housing. It is an ideal solution for combustion or drying facilities, as it extends the service life of downstream conveying equipment.

Construction Details

• Materials: Carbon steel, stainless steel, wear- and/or heat-resistant steel – selected according to thermal and mechanical demands

• Conveying element: Single or double chain per DIN 8167, with customized scrapers

• Cooling system: Integrated coolant circuit at the base and/or side walls of the conveyor for thermal discharge of the material• Drive unit: Gearmotor with direct drive or chain transmission and shear pin safety mechanism

• Standard equipment: Tension adjustment systems, rotation sensors, heavy-duty rolling bearings with sealing units, maintenance doors, and inspection walkway if required
